Ester / Polyester Fishing Line
VARIVAS brand Ester / polyester fishing line has a high sensitivity and specific gravity (sinking quality) second only to fluorocarbon. Doesn’t absorb water. Is more abrasion resistance than nylon. A tenacious, hard, fishing line with zero- to low-stretch, compared to nylon and fluorocarbon.
Polyester/Ester is a super thin fishing line that controls a delicate game. Often used in a hi-lo rig with multiple hooks and leaders. Because of its high sensitivity and specific gravity, thin diameter lines like Ester are now commonly used for Ajing (fishing for Aji) and stocked trout pond fishing competitions.
