Anglers of all ages and skills can enjoy micro-jigging/Super Light Jigging (SLJ). The key to success when micro or super-light jigging is how close the hook is to the fish’s mouth when it bites. Even a millimeter counts. The closer, the better.
This becomes more prominent when the bite occurs while the hook is still sinking and when the line is not taut.
With its short shank, wide gape, and straight point, the SLJ Bear Claw hook design allows anglers to strike immediately when a fish bites.
SLJ Bear Claw assist double-hooks are designed to capture any fish lured towards it as if it were a bear’s claw. Hooks are designed to stay in place, preventing damage to the fish’s mouth or letting the fish get away even when it resists. Quick strikes and a firm hookset. There is no escape for those targeted by the bear claw.
The assist cords come in two types, Front and Rear.
For the front assist cord, the dual fluorocarbon core threads prevent the cord from tangling with the leader.
The rear assist cord has no core, making it more flexible.
