The date of the fishing trip:

March 2022

Location:

Canyon Lake, Texas

Target Fish:

Largemouth Bass

Tackle Information:

Been using the 2/0 Loop Mosquito Wacky Rig hook by VARIVAS and I am extremely impressed with its performance.

It’s the perfect size for a 5” wacky rigged bait and can be fished in the heaviest of cover without getting snagged.

It comes through submerged vegetation with ease and keeps the bait clean. The double wire design is very subtle and doesn’t make the bait look mechanical. The wires also fold over on the hook set with ease and allow the hook point to drive through the top of the fish’s mouth. Another great aspect of the design is that the wacky rig worm will not turn on itself when a fish eats the bait so you can be confident that you will hook the fish every time and not have any missed opportunities.

We like to fish deep in clear water, so a huge part of the Loop Mosquito Hook is the ability to add weight without hurting the soft plastic lure. It’s a huge benefit when the wind picks up or you choose to fish deeper water. The grenade sinkers by VARIVAS stay hidden and allow you to fish a wacky rig at depths that other anglers have not presented a bait!

I highly recommend trying the Loop Mosquito hooks, it will put more and bigger fish in your boat.
